Brightlingsea at Night

This is one of my personal favorites of all the photos I have taken. While back in England we went to visit my friend Stephen and his wife Emma. As it got later we thought we would go for a walk down along the sea front by Bateman's Tower in Brightlingsea. It was about 10pm, pretty dark and just a beautiful evening for a few photos to be taken. This is the view from next to Bateman's Tower looking towards Mersea Island. The crane floating out in the estuary is being used to build a wind farm off the coast of Clacton-on-Sea. Brightlingsea by the way was where I spent my high school years attending the Colne High School from age 11 thru 16. Click on the image for a larger version.

Great photo. Good job you didn't leave it for another hour you'd have had all the local kids there drinking cider - or being sick!!!
